The emergence of COVID-19 is a serious issue for all of us, scenic cruises included. At Essex River Cruises, we are paying close attention to this situation, regularly monitoring developments from the CDC and other health authorities and the Government.

With the current information we have, we have decided to delay our opening day from May 10th to June (exact date TBD). We want to assure you that we're working to develop new safety and social distancing protocols that would still allow customers to safely enjoy the beauty of the Essex River this summer. As we get closer to June we will assess the severity of Covid-19 and decide if we need to push out our season further.

PUBLIC CRUISES: Please book with ease, as all public cruises will receive a full refund up to 24-hrs before the cruise if you need to cancel for any reason.

PRIVATE CHARTERS: Any currently booked charters (people who have already placed a deposit) for the 2020 season will have their cancellation policies waived until the virus is more under control.

NEW CHARTER BOOKINGS: For a limited time we are now waiving deposits for new bookings for the 2020 season. Contact us today to plan your first big event for when skies are sunny and social distancing is a thing of the past.

We're all working through these trying times together and please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Cliff & Alex
